The Student Achievement Measure is supported by six sponsoring associations, working together to provide a more comprehensive and accurate picture of student progress and completion as students move across institutions and state boundaries.

Manchester Community College

Manchester Community College (MCC), an accredited two-year public institution, is one of the largest of the 12 Connecticut community colleges. MCC offers associate in art and associate in science degrees in more than 40 disciplines. The college’s occupational programs prepare graduates for entry-level employment in positions that require foundational knowledge and practical skills, while transfer programs are equivalent to the first two years of study for a bachelor’s degree. The college also offers programs of a shorter duration that focus on developing and strengthening occupational skills in each area of study, resulting in the awarding of a certificate. The certificate programs range from 6 to 30 credits, and some may be completed in as little as one semester. In addition, MCC’s non-credit programs - which include offerings for K-12 and older adults, as well as lifestyle and workforce development courses - are relevant to changing community needs and promote the college as a focus of lifelong learning.
