Great Basin College

Great Basin College is a comprehensive community college which offers select baccalaureate degrees. Established in 1967, GBC enriches people's lives by providing student-centered, post-secondary education with educational programs delivered throughout 10 counties and 86,500 square miles of remote Nevada. GBC utilizes a main campus, four centers, and 20 satellite sites served with well-developed live and distance delivery strategies. Educational, cultural, and related economic needs of the multicounty service area are met through programs of university transfer, applied science and technology, business and industry partnerships, developmental education, community service, and student support services in conjunction with certificates and associate and select baccalaureate degrees.
