The Student Achievement Measure is supported by six sponsoring associations, working together to provide a more comprehensive and accurate picture of student progress and completion as students move across institutions and state boundaries.

Valley City State University

Founded in 1890 in Valley City, N.D. (population 6,500), Valley City State University employs a student-focused, learning-centered approach, enabling its 1,300 students to thrive in a personable and accessible environment. Its beautiful campus provides VCSU students with opportunities for close connections with fellow students, faculty and staff, and for participation in a complete range of student activities and NAIA athletics. One of the first “laptop universities” in the nation—each full-time, resident student receives a laptop computer—VCSU continues its innovative use of technology with many online offerings, including several undergraduate majors and an M.Ed. program.
