Coastal Carolina University is a dynamic public comprehensive liberal arts institution with more than 10,000 students from 49 states, the District of Columbia, and 62 other countries who interact with a world-class faculty, and enjoy a nationally competitive NCAA I athletic program, an inspiring cultural calendar and a choice of over 200 clubs and organizations. Coastal Carolina University is located in Conway, S.C., just minutes from the resort area of Myrtle Beach. While the University has a strong liberal arts foundation, it has developed esteemed programs that utilize local resources, such as its marine science programs and its PGA-accredited professional golf management program. Coastal Carolina offers baccalaureate degrees in 87 major fields of study, twenty-six master’s degree programs, two educational specialist programs and two doctoral programs, in Marine Science: Coastal and Marine Systems Science and the Ph.D. in Education.
