The Student Achievement Measure is supported by six sponsoring associations, working together to provide a more comprehensive and accurate picture of student progress and completion as students move across institutions and state boundaries.

Tarleton State University

Tarleton has a culture of teaching excellence with faculty dedicated to expanding learning opportunities beyond the classroom. There is a vibrant campus life enriched by more than 100 student organizations and numerous opportunities for students to hone the skills needed for a life of leadership and service. Tarleton is a student-focused university and, above all, a family. Founded in 1899 as a private college, Tarleton has grown into a comprehensive public university with over 100 majors and more than 10,000 students across four locations – Stephenville, Fort Worth, Waco, Midlothian – and online. At its core, it has maintained a friendly, small-town feel alongside the resources and ambition of a respected 21st century university. We are bound together by our respect for traditions and for one another. We are united in pride at the achievements of the members of our Tarleton family, as students and ever after.
