University of Wisconsin-Superior

The University of Wisconsin-Superior is a dynamic public university of 2,600 students in the Duluth-Superior MN-WI metro area, which is on the western tip of Lake Superior. UW-Superior is known for its quality academic programs, small class sizes and friendly atmosphere. Our size and 14-to-1 student-teacher ratio means faculty members have time to engage, challenge and mentor students. Hundreds of UW-Superior students work many hours in project-based classes that meet real community needs. Four nationally known institutes conduct ongoing research on Lake Superior's ecosystem and ways to improve its transport and shipping industry. Off campus, outdoor recreation and winter sports opportunities abound and the Duluth-Superior metro offers a vibrant music, arts and entertainment scene.
