University of California-Los Angeles

Diverse, progressive and centered in one of the most influential cities in the world, UCLA is a truly international university that offers a world of opportunity. The campus’s renowned undergraduate programs represent every principal academic field — more than 125 undergraduate majors in over 75 academic departments. The scholars and scientists who compose UCLA’s distinguished faculty include Nobel laureates and a Fields medalist, as well as Guggenheim fellows, recognized for distinguished research and exceptional promise for the future, and MacArthur fellows, recipients of "genius grants" recognizing intellectual creativity and promise. Many UCLA students conduct important, publishable research in collaboration with senior faculty, often as early as their freshman year.
