The Student Achievement Measure is supported by six sponsoring associations, working together to provide a more comprehensive and accurate picture of student progress and completion as students move across institutions and state boundaries.
Ball State University
Ball State University is a state-assisted, residential university located in Muncie, Indiana. It is classified by the Carnegie Foundation as a research university—high research and accredited by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association. The University offers more than 180 undergraduate majors and more than 100 graduate degree programs and certificates. Student enrollment in Fall 2014 was 20,655 (about 4,240 were graduate students), and there were 984 full-time faculty members and a total faculty and staff of 3,700. During 2013-14, 5,623 degrees were awarded. More than 80% of classes are taught by full-time faculty members and the student-faculty ratio is 15:1.
