The Student Achievement Measure is supported by six sponsoring associations, working together to provide a more comprehensive and accurate picture of student progress and completion as students move across institutions and state boundaries.

Chattanooga State Community College

Founded in 1965, Chattanooga State Community College serves a 6-county area in Southeast TN with instructional sites located in Dayton and Kimball. Regionally accredited through the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC), it is one of 13 community colleges in the Tennessee Board of Regents System. The College offers associate and associate of applied science degrees, technical and embedded technical certificates, and Tennessee Transfer Pathways programs, while the TN College of Applied Technology division offers certificate programs and one-year diploma programs with available pathways leading to an Associate of Applied Science degree. The College is proud of its academic partnerships, High Impact Practices, Achieving the Dream network for student success, Focus on Completion, and programs to enhance the College experience, such as learning support and Early College programs, e-Portfolio, Study Abroad, VET Campus, 40-plus student clubs and organizations, and intercollegiate athletics. The College enjoys the largest engineering technology, health science, and applied technology programs in the statewide system, while its strong corporate training activity helps to provide a highly skilled technical workforce. Chattanooga State consistently offers high quality education with an 18:1 student-to-teacher ratio, a 98 percent job placement rate, and 98 percent licensure pass rate.
